I've been a gamer ever since I got my first home computer, an Atari 65XE, for Christmas when I was 3. Despite getting a series of consoles afterwards - mostly Nintendos - I was always a PC gamer at heart and stayed that way, missing out on the N64, as well as Playstations and Xboxes. Since then, I've bought a Gamecube, Wii and a 360, but I still tend to favour games on the PC. The Wii is used mostly for family or party games if I'm honest...
I tend to prefer RPGs and puzzle games, though I grew up with Mario games and also enjoy a good FPS or football (soccer) sim. I think this is pretty much reflected in my list of favourite games. I also enjoy a good MMORPG though a lack of time means I've had to give this up, at least for the time being.
Away from games, I also like playing sports - soccer, badminton, padel tennis, and in England I competed at national level in 8-ball pool.
